So many of them are themselves trying it for the first time and not so easy to make PCM cl interesting…although for a student (serious) lesser distractions if only he concentrates like Arjun on the cmptr screen. Nevertheless the idea is good to suggest, ask ma’am the challenges…
Raj …that’s true…many are trying it for first time….but we got to understand that a lesson plan and teaching methodology for online classes can’t be same as real classrooms…..more time is required to grasp …interest has to be generated by innovative methods…homour and story telling have to become integral part of teaching even for pcm…we got to start thinking and changing..online classes are here to stay…don’t treat them.as time pass..

Tend to agree with you sir. Going thru these Rajdhani Express type Capsules since last 45 days. Only one person understood the reqmt and made it interesting. Teachers probably need to make a virtual classroom in their houses and use better Innovative systems if they really mean to impart knowledge to the today’s hyper millenea generation.

The syllabus and method of teaching has to be different for online classes..

The basic idea behind the online classes is the completion of course on time .
Students sit on the laptop or mobile for nearly 8 -10 hrs a day to read the chapter, attend the online class and finally to write down the exercise sent by the teacher as pdf on the whatsapp group .This exposure to hazardous radiations emitted by the device is resulting in red eyes,headaches and a lot of stress on the young minds as the pressure of completion of work keeps haunting them.The teachers are bent on completing the whole chapter in the single class and get done with their work load.No one seems to be much bothered about under what circumstances the child is studying at home.whether the child has actually understood the concept or not.
These online classes are mostly an audio lecture based class wherein the child has just to listen keeping his device on mute all the time.when it is time for clearing the doubts teacher asks the students to message on her personal number but the reply there is ‘it is not practically possible to answer all queries’
I have my doubts and so do most of other parents …
Will my child be able to learn or gain anything out of it?????

The methodology and syllabus for online classes can’t be same as real classrooms..
Radical changes are required to be made in the system in its entirety.
Let’s aim at creating more ‘ Eklavyas’ than focussing on creating few Arjunas..at the end of the day…what marks a child gets in schools don’t really matter in the long run in life…
